Black Eyed Peas’ singer Fergie has been confirmed as the official voice of the theme song to the highly-anticipated film, ‘Sex and the City:The Movie’, with the new song called ‘Lables & Love’.

The big screen version of the television cult show hits cinemas at the end of May, and director Michael Patrick King has just announced details of the soundtrack.

King tells EW that Fergie’s title track is like “an entirely new song with lyrics, but it has the Sex and the City theme as the DNA - on steroids.”

Jennifer Hudson, who features in the movie as Carrie Bradshaw’s assistant, also contributes a song to the soundtrack called ‘All Dressed Up In Love’.

“She sings it like nobody’s business,” King says.
